Vancouver Yoga Center formed in 2001. We operated for 20 years in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Due to covid we are currently instructing our classes online.

The Joy of Yoga from
the Comfort of Your Home
Melonie Nielsen opened the Vancouver Yoga Center in 2001. She taught and ran the studio's weekly classes and Yoga Teacher Training programs until Covid closed the studio location. Currently she is offering weekly online Live-stream classes, in person private sessions, On demand yoga courses and a Patreon Yoga club where you can get continued inspiration for your practice. Melonie is also a Massage Therapist and Structural Integration bodyworker for over 20 years. She operates her practice in her backyard bungalow, surrounded by edible landscaping and the sound of birds.

Jenny Jasinski
Jenny enjoys the satisfaction derived from the exploration of deepening her own physical and mental yoga practice and wants to bring that curiosity and love to her own students. She embraces the concept of balance in a life, accepting the perfect you at this moment and still exploring and pushing the boundaries of our potential.
Teresa Rodriiguez
Teresa grew up in Eastern Washington, but fell in love with exploring the world, soaking up culture, and listening to people's stories. While she loves to travel, you can often find her drinking mint tea with honey, playing cards, and laughing with friends and family.
Samantha Fisher
Samantha was initially drawn to studying yoga as a component of holistic healing. She had noticed herself feeling better physically, mentally, and emotionally through her personal practice and was deeply drawn to creating that space for others to experience their own transformations in health and well-being.
